Brenda Chambers

Physical Education Teacher

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Methodist University. I am originally from New Jersey and moved to Virginia six years ago. I will be teaching PE in the Lower and Middle School Divisions. I am very excited to meet all the wonderful faculty, staff, and students.

I love being active; playing sports, riding bikes and hiking, but I also like to relax on the beach. I played multiple sports growing up but soccer has always been my favorite. I played four years of collegiate soccer and I currently play on several adult leagues in Virginia.

I have a passion for teaching and my goal at McLean is to make my students fall in love with a lifetime of being physically active.

K-12 College Preparatory School Supporting Bright Students’ Individual Strengths and Challenges.

McLean School is an independent, co-educational, K-12 day school serving Maryland, Washington, and Virginia. McLean has for over sixty years been helping students realize their full potential by providing a comprehensive college preparatory program that emphasizes small classes and differentiated instruction. We embrace both traditional learners and ones with mild to moderate learning challenges – dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and challenges related to anxiety and executive functioning. Many of our students excel in some areas while benefiting from support in others.
