I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching through the Capital Teaching Residency program and have spent the past three years teaching at KIPP DC. However, I am beyond excited to be teaching fourth grade at McLean. Because of the experience with my brother, providing a high quality educational experience to all types of learners by first focusing on their strengths is close to my heart. In addition to teaching, I write original educational texts for CommonLit, am a Wilson tutor, and create assessment items. In my spare time, I love to read history and fantasy books, go on hikes, and knit.
