My Story

I’m excited to be officially joining the McLean School community. As a “Lifer,” attending McLean from kindergarten through graduation, I am fortunate to have perspective on how amazing this school is as both a student and a faculty member. Not only did I attend McLean during the school year, but I also went to camp at SummerEdge. Furthermore, I have also worked as a CIT, counselor, and instructor at the camp. I proudly embrace McLean’s initiative to create a judgment-free environment where anyone can successfully learn.

After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice, I plan to continue my education by receiving a master’s degree in child psychology. Working with children for most of my life, I have grown attached to forming strong connections with students while providing more resources than just their necessities. I enjoy having the ability to work with children of various backgrounds and learning strengths and challenges while remaining patient, open-minded, and understanding.

While away from McLean, I enjoy drawing and painting, spending time with friends and family, and taking road trips or vacations.
