I am excited and honored to be a part of the McLean School community. College Counseling is a calling and something I relish doing. I have been privileged to work in a variety of school settings in the US and the Middle East for over two decades. One of my biggest joys has been advising students and families about the college admissions process. I delight in working with students to help them realize their gifts and build their own college plans. The college experience and degree can be transformative, and there is a school for every student. I want to help inform our students and families of the best college strategies and choices.
I earned a master’s degree in School Counseling at George Washington University. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Catholic University and served in the Navy for 22 years. I also enjoyed attending the Harvard Summer Institute for Counselors. My wife, Barbara, and I have seven children who we love and keep us very busy.
