I received my BA in Classical Languages and Literature—with a minor in History—and my MEd in Curriculum and Instruction both from the University of Maryland, College Park. I am also a proud McLean alumnus, having started my journey in the 2004-2005 school year. I served the School in a variety of positions, including SummerEdge for 10 years! I could talk about my love for Latin and the ancient Romans for hours and I am a devoted video gamer at my core. Additionally, during my time at McLean, I discovered a passion for music via the viola. As an undergrad, I was able to combine my two interests of video gaming and the viola in the Gamer Symphony Orchestra, with which I played at the Kennedy Center! In my downtime, I love to spend time with my two rescue dogs, Annie and Zoe.
McLean has been very much a part of my life. I am incredibly excited to start my teaching career in a community that has given me so much and to have the opportunity to give back.
