I earned my MM in Music Education from Kent State University and my BMEd., cum laude, from The Ohio State University. I love to travel and will be visiting my 50th state, North Dakota, during summer vacation. Some of my favorite places I have explored include Hawaii, Iceland, Alaska, the United Kingdom and Nova Scotia. I have taught K-4 general music, chorus 3 and 4 at McLean since February of 2014. I love making music with my students and working together with them to create our own musical arrangements. I love to watch them explore their musical creativity and to hear them develop their voices and musical abilities. One of the most exciting aspects of working at McLean is the way the school encourages students and staff to use their creativity and to think outside the box.
