My Story

In college I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.  My lack of focus led to my studying math, computer science and history, while performing with an acrobatic troupe, drumming for a punk band and serving with The Army Reserve. My first full time job after college was at a gymnastics club. This allowed me to work with very young children, adolescents and young adults in competitive and recreational settings. It wasn’t intentional, but I now know that I was being trained in how to deal with different learners in different environments. I bring that experience to the Upper School Math students every school day.  When I’m not teaching, I might be traveling, making music, reading, writing, doing handstands, or any combination!
