I am a native Texan who came to the area after graduating from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Upon moving to the DC area, I attended American University, earning my Masters of Special Education: Learning Disabilities. I am one of the Kindergarten teachers and could not ask for a better place and age group to teach. I love helping lay a strong, positive foundation for each student, helping them learn in the best possible way, and recognize their unique attributes. I enjoy bringing my love of cooking into the classroom. When not teaching, you can find me in the kitchen cooking meals for friends and family or in Austin, Texas, spending time with my family.
