With over three decades of experience across independent and public school settings, Kristen Vogel is a seasoned educator and administrator known for her thoughtful, student-first approach. In her previous role as Director of Enrollment Management and Dean of Students at The Academy at Penguin Hall, Kristen led admissions strategy, student life programming, and academic partnerships.
Her leadership experience at every level of education, from teacher to curriculum director to assistant principal to high school principal to superintendent, gives Kristen valuable insight and expertise. Highlights of her work over time include: implementing universal design, restorative practices, and MTSS frameworks; expanding AP and dual enrollment offerings; guiding community-based strategic planning in diverse school communities; and foregrounding and facilitating professional development.
Kristen earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Lawrence University, as well as a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School. A former adjunct professor, varsity coach, and dorm parent, Kristen brings a broad, relational perspective to the job.
