Service has been the cornerstone of my professional journey. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to combine my passion for helping others with a talent for keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, and for the past two decades, I’ve worked in a variety of roles in education and nonprofit administration.
Organization is my superpower – I love checklists, proactive communication, and a well-managed database. My personal motto is to “bloom wherever I am planted,” and I strive to approach each day and every person I meet with a warm smile and a can-do attitude.
For the past fifteen years, I’ve supported students, families, and school leadership in PK–12 settings. I’m thrilled to continue that journey at McLean School, where I will find immense joy in helping students discover their voices and realize their potential. The growth that takes place during the Middle and Upper School years never fails to inspire me and keeps each work day full of new energy and purpose.
I grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Maryland as a young adult. I have two grown(ish) children and a wonderfully large extended family that includes 27 nieces and nephews and 24 great-nieces and nephews. Outside of work, I’m a fitness enthusiast who loves distance swimming, strength training, and all forms of yoga. My other happy place is curled up with one of my cats and several good books.
