My Story

I’m so excited to be part of the McLean School team! My family’s journey has been a truly global one, taking me from my childhood in Egypt and my University years in Germany to my Yoga teacher training in India. My husband and I then moved to Switzerland, where we had our first daughter, and later to Brazil, where our second daughter was born. This incredible journey has taught me firsthand that no two people, especially children, are the same, and I’ve come to deeply appreciate the beauty and strength found in our differences.

I believe that understanding and celebrating each child’s individuality is key to a joyful and successful learning environment. My passion for education led me to pursue a Master’s in Education from the University of Keele in the UK, which I am in the final stages of completing. This academic journey, combined with my background as a yoga teacher for the past decade, has taught me the importance of mindfulness, grounding, and a positive approach to life. I’ve seen how these practices can help people of all ages overcome challenges, and I am passionate about bringing this same heart-centered philosophy into the classroom.

My goal is to foster a safe, compassionate space where every student feels seen, heard, and empowered to explore their own unique interests and capabilities. I look forward to working with the amazing students, staff, and families at McLean School to help create a community where everyone can thrive.

When I’m not at school, you can find me enjoying my favorite hobbies, which include reading, singing, and, most importantly, having epic dance parties with my daughters!
