My Story

I have been teaching Technology, Engineering, and Computer Science for over 20 years. I hold degrees in physics, engineering, and statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My past jobs include farm hand, disc jockey, stadium security, engineer, Peace Corps volunteer, technology trainer, programmer, coach, and teacher.

I pursue a number of hobbies when not teaching. I play a number of instruments – all at a beginner level. I build things like electronic instruments and guitar effects pedals. I like to run, hike, and rock climb. I also enjoy minor league baseball games, visiting 69 different stadiums to date.
