My Story

I am a native Washingtonian, with a BA from The College of Wooster in Ohio and an MA in Modern European History from The George Washington University. I teach grade 10 Western Traditions and grade 11 Modern World History, with a focus on philosophy, culture, and formal debate. I came to McLean because of its wonderful reputation for creativity in the classroom and working with students who have a wide range of learning styles. Along with teaching, my passions are politics, travel, and spending time with my family.
