After two years studying Music Recording and playing baseball at Finger Lakes Community College, I attended SUNY Oneonta, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies and a Master’s in School Counseling. I am coming to the Washington DC area from upstate New York (Go Yankees!) where I was a school counselor, baseball coach, and soccer coach for four years in a small rural school district about the same size as McLean. My mission as a school counselor is to build relationships that empower students to feel love and belonging among their peers and communities. At my previous school, I had the privilege of developing relationships with every child in my building whether it was in my office, a classroom, or assisting with the drama club, or coaching sports after school. Outside of school, I enjoy running, playing guitar, and visiting family. I look forward to meeting everyone as the Middle School Counselor!
