My Story

I am so excited to teach third grade this year at McLean School! I worked at the National Presbyterian School in Washington DC as a 1st grade and 3rd grade Teacher Associate. I’ve worked at NPS for 4 years. I went to American University for my undergrad degree in Elementary Education and my Masters in Teaching. While in school, I had the opportunity to be on the American University Swim team; it was a great experience. Outside of teaching, I love to teach kids how to swim! Currently, I am an Assistant Swim Coach for the National Capital Swim Team (NCAP). I’ve been coaching kids how to swim for the past 4 years. In my free time I enjoy swimming, running, hiking, and camping! I am so excited to be part of the McLean community. Let’s go Mustangs!
