A compassionate Middle School Reading Specialist with a passion for developing curriculum and creating an atmosphere that will produce confident and competent readers. The ideal candidate will have over thirty years of experience in teaching children with a wide range of learning differences and learning styles. They must believe in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where showing kindness and respect is expected and where students know they are loved. The applicant must truly understand and appreciate the transformational power of the McLean School.
Loving wives and mothers with a degree in Special Education from the University of Delaware are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must find true happiness and peace while in Rehoboth Beach or on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, and thoroughly enjoy making spaces beautiful.
