Working with children to support their social and emotional needs has always been a passion of mine. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Towson University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with students and staff at McLean. I enjoy staying up to date on current best practices to help address students’ well-being. In order to achieve this goal, I have taken extensive training in multiple therapeutic modalities, including SPACE Training, CBT, and DBT, as well as staying up to date on the most recent research on anxiety, among other difficulties students face that interfere with learning. As a life-long learner myself, I strive to continue pushing my knowledge and skills in these areas. I am lucky to be able to work closely with the wonderful faculty at the school, many of which include members of my family.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family in my free time. My favorite activities include playing and listening to music and especially attending concerts.
