Marci Mitchell
Director of Communications
Marci Mitchell brings more than 20 years of experience in independent schools and strategic communications. She most recently served as Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications at Lincoln School, where she led a team responsible for developing integrated marketing and communications strategies to advance the school’s admissions, fundraising, and brand awareness. Her work has spanned publications, advertising, digital marketing, social media, video production, and media outreach.
Prior to her time at Lincoln, Marci served as Director of Marketing and Communications at The Howard School in Atlanta, a school for neurodiverse students. She also held similar leadership roles at The Friends School of Atlanta and Woodward Academy, and earlier in her career worked in marketing and communications positions at The Coca-Cola Company, Boston Scientific, and Reebok.
Marci holds a degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also served on the Friends School Board of Trustees for six years, including two years as co-clerk.
Outside of her professional work, Marci enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, and listening to music.
