Alyssa Reich

Grade 5

I’ve always believed that the best learning happens when children feel valued, inspired, and excited to come to school each day. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from Pre-K through fifth grade in both independent and public schools. Helping children build confidence, discover their strengths, and develop a genuine love of learning continues to be the most rewarding part of being an educator.

Throughout my career, I’ve taught a variety of grade levels and subjects, and each experience has strengthened my belief that strong relationships, curiosity, and a supportive classroom are the foundation for student success. I love creating engaging learning experiences that meet students where they are while encouraging them to grow with confidence.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and my master’s degree in education from National-Louis University. I’m also Responsive Classroom certified, and I strive to create a classroom where every child feels known, supported, challenged, and celebrated. I enjoy designing hands-on learning experiences that encourage students to ask questions, think critically, collaborate, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of two active kids who keep me busy with sports, school events, and family adventures. I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with my family. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with my students and their families.
