Head of School Circle – An Evening of Gratitude & Connection
An exclusive evening with McLean Head of School, Barry Davis. Guests enjoy an insider’s update on the school’s vision and exciting initiatives, as well as meaningful conversations with our most engaged volunteers, dedicated administrators, and leadership donors. The generosity and commitment of Head of School donors makes a lasting impact. We look forward to celebrating with you.
Annual Celebration & Fundraiser
A cherished tradition that unites our community while raising vital funds for Financial Assistance and key school initiatives. Each year, we showcase a unique theme—whether the whimsical Through the Looking Glass or the elegant Platinum Jubilee—and create an unforgettable evening of connection. Guests enjoy a festive cocktail reception, delicious dinner, an inspiring “Raise the Paddle” fundraiser, lively entertainment, and interesting speakers—all in support of our school’s educational experience.
Mustang Golf Open
Take the day off and join other McLean School parents, alum, and friends for the Annual McLean School Mustang Golf Open in April at Blue Mash Golf Course. This all-inclusive golf outing includes lunch and drinks at the club, range balls, and 18 holes of golf with prizes and McLean golf swag. Sign up with friends or play solo — we’ll assign you a team by handicap.
5 Days of Community Giving
In May, the school community comes together through a week of fun incentives and grade competitions to achieve maximum parent participation in the annual fund. Show your#MustangPride and join us in May to celebrate our McLean School community.
Community Education Series: Cecily’s Conference
Honoring Cecily Kaufman’s legacy, this annual symposium brings national and local experts on child development to McLean. It attracts 300+ attendees in the Washington metro area, offering practical strategies for K-12 success.
McLean School Carnival
One of our most joyful K–12 traditions—a day when classrooms give way to cotton candy, music fills the air, and our entire community comes together to celebrate. From classic carnival games and student-run booths to live entertainment and sweet treats, there’s something for every age.
