Spanish

I am a proud Peruvian and now a U.S. citizen. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega and earned a Master’s degree from Universidad Federico Villarreal in Lima, Peru.

I also studied and became certified as an interpreter, a role I truly enjoy. I love learning and sharing my native language with my students, along with the rich culture and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. For over a decade, I have been teaching Spanish, focusing on combining vocabulary, grammar, and culture in engaging, interactive ways.

I believe the best way to learn a language is by creating strong connections with students that motivate them to learn through play, engagement, and a variety of creative strategies and resources.

Outside of school, I am the proud mom of Bruno and grandmother of Gianluca, the loves of my life! In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places, meeting new people, reading, dancing, and cooking—especially traditional Peruvian dishes.
