I grew up as a proud country girl in small-town Idaho and pursued higher education at Utah State University, where I competed in Track and Field and earned my BS in Psychology. My journey in education began as a ski instructor at Park City Mountain, where I specialized in children’s instruction and adaptive skiing for 13 years. I then spent six years working with at-risk youth for the Utah State Courts, collaborating with three different school districts in Utah. This experience solidified my passion for education, leading me to obtain my MEd from Westminster University. I have since served as a Dean of Students at two independent schools and am now thrilled to be in the classroom at McLean, where I look forward to positively impacting our students’ lives.
