I am a native of Brunswick, ME and graduated from Bowdoin College with a major is psychology and minor in sociology. After graduating from Bowdoin, I worked at a boarding school in Pennsylvania where I taught biology; coached soccer, basketball, and lacrosse; and acted as a dorm parent. I would definitely consider myself a sports junkie, as I love to talk about, watch, and play about every sport. My other passions include traveling and cooking, both of which allow me to experience different cultures and try new things!
One of the main reasons I came to McLean School was because of the connection students and teachers have in the classroom. Having smaller classroom sizes provides an opportunity for more individualized instruction and creativity in the classroom, both of which I believe contribute greatly to everyone’s learning experience. I’m looking forward to having my experience transfer to the College Counseling Office as I support students as they move from Upper School to College.
