Jill Wilson

LS Science & Technology

In 1983, I became a proud graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Later on in my career, I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix. I began my teaching career in Ohio in the same community that I had lived in since I was five. After teaching in Ohio I moved to Maryland in 1999 when I married Mark Wilson. I came to McLean in 2012 where I have been teaching Lower School science and technology. I developed a love of science by working at a science museum in Ohio. The job at McLean combined the two areas I love to teach most. After spending the day at McLean, I knew this is the place I wanted to be. I am an avid fan of The Ohio State University football. My Saturdays in the fall are dedicated to watching football. Go Bucks!

McLean has for over sixty years been helping students realize their full potential by providing a comprehensive college preparatory program that emphasizes small classes and differentiated instruction. We embrace both traditional learners and ones with mild to moderate learning challenges – dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and challenges related to anxiety and executive functioning. Many of our students excel in some areas while benefiting from support in others.
