Business Office

The Business Office contains several sections: Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Systems Administration, Health Room, Transportation, and Building and Grounds. It is responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of the school, including safety, security, finance & insurance, personnel benefits, transportation, and buildings & grounds. The Business Manager works closely with the Board of Trustees to provide financial oversight of the school’s programs.

For parents, the Business Office staff is available to discuss tuition, fees and the tuition refund plan. In addition, field trips, lunch, lost books, and other student-related functions are handled through this office.

For faculty, Human Resources is available to discuss all matters concerning payroll, taxes, discretionary funds, flexible spending accounts (Section 125), seniority benefits, attendance, and other related personnel matters. Insurance applications, claim forms, retirement benefits, long term disability and flexible spending information are located in this office as well as guidance through the enrollment process and determination of eligibility for coverage.

The Operations section of the Business Office is responsible for ordering and purchasing materials, books, furniture, and supplies, among others. Purchase order forms, reimbursement forms, leave or absence forms, field trip forms, events forms and repair forms are located in the Division offices. These forms can be downloaded from the intranet. Operations will also order classroom supplies, arrange transportation for field trips, and maintain the photocopiers and postage machine.

The Systems Administrator insures the proper functioning of the computers, servers, printers, phones and bells.

The Transportation Coordinator administers all bus transportation and parking.

The Building and Grounds section is responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of the buildings and grounds. For specific issues, work order forms should be completed and put into the Building Engineer’s mailbox.
