Grade 7 Latin Students Recreate the Roman Forum

In Robbie Hitzelberg’s grade 7 Latin class the students recreated the Roman Forum. Students were divided into four groups, each group responsible for one activity that would have taken place in an Ancient Roman forum. Gideon C. and Katy R. held a lion sacrifice.* Nick W. and Helena C. recreated an assassination and execution.** Ben K., Ethan W., and Daniel K. sold goats to warriors.*** Last but not least, Rebecca K. and Sophia M. tried, branded, and executed a runaway slave.****
