Grade 8 Building Competition

On Wednesday, in lieu of the Middle School Community Meeting, the 8th grade students and advisors met in the APR to work on a building activity and competition. The winning team was the one who could build the tallest stable tower using only four index cards and four paper cups. The competitive spirit reigned in the APR as each group tried to keep their design ideas secret from one another. Through the team effort, the students realized the importance of good communication skills and the patience needed for the trial-and-error component of this process.
