Grade 8 “Penny Lab”

Heather Crabtree’s grade 8 science class was learning how to correctly use the steps of the Scientific Method by trying to see how many drops of water could fit on a penny. Before they began the lab, the students estimated the number of drops the penny would hold, and then tested their hypotheses with four trials. Lab reports were then created with the data.
