TouchMath in Grade 2
The 2nd grade math students in Cassie Dunlevy’s class were learning TouchMath. TouchMath is a multisensory math program that allows children to focus on touching/counting patterns by using the Touchpoints. TouchMath helps reinforce one-to- one correspondence and basic number sense. The students brought in circular objects and placed them on the number. These circular objects served as the Touchpoints.
