Grade 5 Students Take History Lessons from Gettysburg
Grade 5 students are learning about the Civil War in social studies this quarter. Visiting Gettysburg exposed the students to history firsthand, out of the classroom. The students visited The Gettysburg National Military Park and in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the Schmucker Art Gallery in Gettysburg College was featuring an exhibition of works from this period.
