A Lesson in Leadership for 8th Grade

In Joe Pace’s 8th grade US History class, during a unit on trade, students tried to construct towers using different resources. Eventually the students discovered that better results come from sharing or pooling resources. Even then, deciding on leadership and a common strategy interferes with the best outcomes.
