Books
Your class books should be your first resource when you have a question. These include:
The Algebra Bridge notebook (from the Key to Algebra series); and
the Algebra Survival Guide
Both of these books break down key Algebra concepts, and explain them with visual, symbolic and language-based examples.
You may also enjoy Danica McKellar’s series of math-help books, including:
Hot X: Algebra Exposed; and
Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who’s the Boss
These books are available in area bookstores and online at amazon.com.
