American Sign Language A

This is an introductory course to American Sign Language (ASL), an option for selected students for whom Spanish or Latin may not be appropriate. As ASL is a visual language, it consists of precise hand shapes and movements for communication. Students in this course will also explore Deaf history, Deaf culture and current events in the Deaf community.
