Study Hall
The
Middle School Study Hall for students in grades 6-8 will run from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
We have created an age appropriate schedule for these students. If Middle
School students need to stay past 5:30 pm, they will be escorted to
the Library where they will remain until their parent or guardian arrives
and signs them out. Students staying until 6:00 pm will be billed
an additional $5.00 daily fee. Billing will be done on a monthly basis.
Students in grades 6-8 are welcome to join the 3:20 Club students
in the Library if they would like to stay on campus on Fridays.
We recognize the large age span that will be in the Library on those
days and plan to divide our staff so that we can provide age appropriate
activities for all. Study Hall tuition is dependent upon the
number of days per week that your child is enrolled in the program.

I
would also like to remind you of some general procedures. Registration
Forms need to be filled out three times a year. The Fall session ends
on November ; therefore we need you to fill out new forms for the Winter
session and submit them with your check. If you are planning to
utilize the drop-in option at $25/day, please remember to notify the
Middle School office or your child’s teacher on that day, so the change
can be noted on our attendance list. You will be billed at the end of
each month which will reflect the total amount owed for the month, not
the date on the invoice.
For
questions regarding your bill please contact me directly at jwhichard@mcleanschool.org or 240.395.0690. We require that
each child be signed out on a nightly basis. This requires that you
come into the building. If you have any questions about your
child’s whereabouts when you arrive, please check at the front desk
and they will be able to direct you to the appropriate location. We
have someone answering the phones until 6:00 pm, so if you know you
are going to be late, please call to notify us. There is a late fee
of one dollar per minute assessed to anyone here after 6:00 pm.
