Admission Procedures and Requirements
- Completed application form with fee
- Parent interview with an admission officer
- From current school:
- (a) Report Card
- (b) Teacher Recommendation Form
- (c) Standardized Test Results
- Cognitive Assessment (IQ test)
- Achievement test results within one year
- Students visit at McLean. Kindergarten applicants attend a group visit on a specified date.
The Admission Committee reviews completed applications only. McLean school adheres to the common notification date set annually by the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington.
