Our Facilities

McLean School is situated 12 miles northwest of Washington, DC, in Potomac, Maryland — a gentle suburban area of rolling hills. McLean’s nine acres along a residential side street are surrounded by lovely homes and townhouses.

The main structure of 47,000 square feet was built in the 1960s as a Montgomery County elementary school. McLean took possession in 1978 and completely renovated the building in 1991. Five years later, we completed a 10,800 square-foot gymnasium. We added classrooms to the middle school and built a new three-story wing to house the upper school. Our site today includes:
